Suraj Singh Thakuri, recognized for his multifaceted roles as a television presenter, actor, director, and producer, presently serves as the Chief Executive Producer at Kantipur Television Network. He gained prominence as the host of the long-running Nepali talk show, Call Kantipur, airing daily on Kantipur Television. After a decade-long stint hosting Call Kantipur, he passed the baton to emerging talents like Suraj Giri, Akesha Bista, and Riju Shrestha.

The show Call Kantipur served as Thakuri's breakthrough platform. Initially co-hosted with Prasidika, the lineup changed over the years, with Miss Nepal Preity Sitoula and later Miss Nepal Malvika Subba taking over. VJ/RJ Manavi Dhakal also shared hosting duties. Thakuri has cited Bhusan Dahal as his role model.

In addition to Call Kantipur, Thakuri has produced and hosted various other shows on KTV. He's contributed to programs like KTV Tiffin Box, Arrival, Kantipur Aja, Ghum Gham, Ghum Gham with Bhushan Dahal, KTV Countdown, KTV Cook Book, and Pariwartan. Additionally, he has directed several music videos.

Transitioning from Call Kantipur, Thakuri initiated a new show, Pariwartan, on the same channel. Pariwartan is an interview-based social show centered on discussing societal issues and exploring potential solutions. In contrast to political talk shows, Pariwartan delves deeper into social concerns.

Currently, Thakuri hosts the fourth season of "It's My Show with Suraj Singh Thakuri" on Kantipur Television, a broadcast scheduled every Saturday at 9:00 PM NST.
