Shristi Shrestha, the acclaimed Nepalese model and actress, gained widespread recognition after clinching the coveted title of Miss Nepal World in 2012. Primarily known for her contributions to Nepali cinema, Shrestha's foray into acting commenced with a prominent role in the Nepali film "Gajalu," where she shared the screen with Anmol K.C.
Beyond her cinematic endeavors, Shrestha expanded her artistic horizons by delving into theatre. Her theatrical debut was no small feat, portraying the character of Ophelia in a rendition of Shakespeare's timeless classic, "Hamlet." The production, held at Kathmandu's Theatre Village and orchestrated by the British Council, saw a month-long engagement under the direction of Gregory Thomson. This marked a significant milestone in Shrestha's artistic journey, showcasing her versatility and talent across different realms of performing arts.
