Shishir Bangdel, also known as Shisheer Bangdel, is a prominent figure in Nepali cinema known for his versatile talent as an actor and musician. His acting journey began in 2008, albeit the release of his film "Tata Bye Bye" was postponed until 2015. Bangdel gained recognition for his knack for portraying antagonistic roles, starting with his portrayal of the villainous character DJ Ryan, a drug dealer, in the 2013 movie "Karkash."
In the romantic comedy "Kabaddi" released in 2014, Bangdel depicted Ambir Thakuri, a swindler and an overall criminal figure. Continuing his character's journey, he reprised the role of Ambir in the sequel "Kabaddi Kabaddi" in 2015, where the character had progressed into a corrupt politician, showcasing Bangdel's versatility in portraying multifaceted roles. Bangdel's repertoire of antagonistic roles expanded further in the mega-hit "Resham Filili" also released in 2015, where he portrayed the memorable character Dorjee Don, adding depth and dimension to his on-screen portrayals.
