Saroj Khanal, a talented actor, was once considered to have great potential in the Nepali film industry. However, his career took an unexpected turn when he moved to the USA in 1997 to participate in a cultural program. Unfortunately, he did not return, and he remained virtually absent from the film industry for over a decade and a half.
His comeback in the 2014 movie 'Manav' did not have the desired impact, as the film didn't perform well at the box office. Subsequently, he made the decision to return to Nepal, where he aimed to start a business venture and continue his acting career in Nepali movies. This marked a significant change in his career path, and it's interesting to see how he balanced both his business pursuits and his passion for acting upon his return to Nepal.
