Salon Basnet, born on March 23, 1991, in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a celebrated Nepali actor and model. His journey in the Nepali film industry has been marked by both familial legacy and personal talent. Salon made his debut as a child actor in the movie “Nepali Babu” back in 1999, following in the footsteps of his father, Shovit Basnet, a prominent actor, producer, and director. As he transitioned into adulthood, Salon gained prominence through several super-hit Nepali films. His debut as an adult actor came with the film “Hostel” (2013), which paved the way for his rising popularity. “Gajalu” (2016) further solidified his position in the industry, leaving a lasting impact. In 2019, Salon contributed to the success of “Yatra”. Beyond his professional achievements, Salon Basnet’s personal life also garnered attention. He tied the knot with fellow actress Karishma KC in 2022, after a four-year relationship. His journey continues to inspire aspiring actors and fans alike.
