Rima Bishwokarma, a prominent Nepalese actress and media personality, began her journey in the entertainment industry at an early age, hosting a TV program called "Jada Jadye" when she was in grade 6 or 7. Her career took off as a VJ for Nepal Television and later as a newscaster for National TV before transitioning into acting.
She stepped into the spotlight through music videos, including "Jindagibhar Saath Dinchhu Bhannele" by Chris KC, setting the stage for her prolific career. Her notable presence in the Nepali music video industry was highlighted by her appearance in Shreya Ghosal's "Chayechha Basanta."
Her acting career began with the movie "Swor" in 2011, directed by Prasanna Poudel under MRS Movies Pvt. Ltd. She continued her cinematic journey with roles in movies like "Visa Girl," "Ritu," "Baato Muniko Ful 2," among others. Her dedication to her craft led her to international shoots, including filming in Rajasthan for a music video and in Australia for the movie "Ritu."
Rima Bishwokarma gained international recognition through her co-hosting role on the renowned franchise reality show "Nepal Idol," earning praise from Nepali-speaking audiences worldwide. Additionally, she serves as the host of the Nepali Comedy Reality show "Comedy Champion," a pioneering venture as Nepal's first comedy reality show, showcasing her versatility and widespread appeal in the Nepalese entertainment industry.
