Resh Marhatta, a versatile personality in Nepal's entertainment and education spheres, stands as an accomplished actor, filmmaker, author, columnist, and business educator. His academic journey, marked by excellence, includes obtaining a teaching license from the Utah State Board of Education and graduating with high honors from Weber State University, where he earned a place in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. His academic prowess was further highlighted by receiving a presidential scholarship and inclusion in the prestigious "who’s who" book among American universities and colleges. Moreover, his active involvement as a Student Body Officer (Senator) at Weber State University signifies his leadership qualities.
His foray into the entertainment industry commenced with a supporting role in the Finnish TV series "Junketeers," directed by Timu, during his tenure in California in 2001. His modeling career began with a significant assignment for Artistic Imaging LLC, photographed by Jason Montgomery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Beyond entertainment, Marhatta engages globally as a motivational speaker, particularly focusing on youth empowerment. He frequently serves as a judge for beauty pageants and reality shows across various countries, including Singapore, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, and Thailand. Marhatta's contributions have also been acknowledged in the academic realm, receiving an honorary doctorate from Kings University on May 30, 2016, at the Hilton Convention Center, Hilton Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland.
He extends his expertise beyond entertainment and education, contributing columns on health and fitness to Nepalese magazines such as Vibes and Food & Wine. His literary talents have led to the authorship of three novels: "Roots," delving into untold Asian stories; "11th Street," a romantic thriller; and "T2V, Trip to Vegas," a suspense thriller. "Trip to Vegas" was released among esteemed panelists in an event held in Baltimore in 2016, attended by notable personalities like Pevannan Kuppusamy, Selvi Kuman, Carolin Praba, Unni Sivaraman, and Tamil/Indian actor Rkay.
