Rabindra Jha, also known as "Munna," is a renowned Nepalese actor, comedian, and scriptwriter, widely recognized for his versatile performances in the Nepali entertainment industry. Born on March 4, 1978, in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha, Nepal, Rabindra's journey to stardom is a testament to his dedication and passion for the arts. From a young age, Rabindra was deeply interested in acting and singing, inspired by his father's support and encouragement. He pursued his education at Sankatmochan Dev Sharan Ramrati Higher School and later attended Kathmandu's Nepal Commerce Campus for higher studies. To further hone his dramatic skills, Rabindra studied drama at Adi Natya Drishti in Delhi, India.
Rabindra's career began with appearances in several television series in the late 1990s, where he gained recognition for portraying serious and villainous roles. He made his Kollywood debut in 2013 with the film "12 Nepali Ek Chihan." However, it was his role in the 2016 film "Jatra" that catapulted him to fame. Rabindra's exceptional performances in comedies like "Changa Chet" (2018), "Ram Kahani" (2018), and "Jatrai Jatra" (2019) have made him a household name in Nepal. His films often explore themes of Nepali national identity, social and religious differences, and community connections.
