Priyanka Karki is a celebrated Nepali actress, model, singer, and filmmaker, widely regarded as one of the most talented and versatile figures in the Nepali entertainment industry. Born on February 27, 1987, in Kathmandu, Nepal, she began her journey in the limelight by winning the title of Miss Teen Nepal 2005. Priyanka pursued her education at the University of North Alabama, where she graduated with a degree in Film and Digital Media Production.
Her acting career took off with her debut in the film "3 Lovers" (2012), and she gained widespread recognition for her roles in movies like "Nai Na Bhannu La 2," "Jholey," "Chhakka Panja," and "Suntali." She has also showcased her singing talent with songs like "Swatantra" and the soundtrack of "Aawaran" in collaboration with Yama Buddha. Priyanka's performances have earned her numerous awards, including the NFDC National Film Award for Best Actress.
In addition to her artistic achievements, Priyanka is a social activist and a judge on Nepal's first international dance reality show, "Boogie Woogie Nepal." She is married to actor Ayushman DS Joshi, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2021.
