Milan Newar, known in Nepali as मिलन नेवार, stands as a popular singer from Nepal, showcasing her musical prowess across various languages such as Nepali, Hindi, and Assamese. Since her early years, Milan has been immersed in singing, displaying her multilingual talent and honing her craft. Currently based in the UK for a music program, Milan's journey in music has been marked by both personal and professional milestones.
In 2014, she courageously chose to part ways from her marriage of six years with Mason Amatya due to his lack of support for her career aspirations. Milan's resilience and dedication to her craft became evident when she contributed her vocals and talents to a notable Nepali environmental awareness song titled "Melancholy," featuring an impressive lineup of 365 Nepali singers and musicians. Her solo recording for the song, conducted at the Radio Nepal studio in Kathmandu on 19 May 2016, contributed to setting a Guinness World Record for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording."
Beyond her vocal talents, Milan's involvement extends to songwriting and production for movies and DVDs, often delving into themes reflective of her personal experiences and family life. Her artistic journey has been marked not only by musical achievements but also by her resilience in navigating personal challenges while making impactful contributions to the music industry.
