Malvika Subba, a multifaceted Nepalese personality, has left a significant mark in various fields. Graduating with a Masters in Mass Communication and Journalism from Pokhara University, she embarked on a diverse career path.
Her journey began when she was crowned Miss Nepal in 2002 at the age of 21. Following this milestone, Subba delved into the media industry, serving as a TV host for Call Kantipur on Kantipur Television. Her commitment to social causes was evident as she assumed roles such as the Ambassador for Human Trafficking for Voice of India, MTV EXIT, and engagements with organizations like Action Aid's Hunger-Free Campaign and UNICEF as an HIV/AIDS Youth Leader.
Subba's involvement extended into the entertainment realm, where she showcased her acting prowess in movies and dramas like "God Lives in The Himalayas," "Good Bye Kathmandu," and "Hamri Shiwani."
She made significant contributions in the fashion and lifestyle sector as well, serving as the chief editor for Navyaata, a leading fashion and lifestyle magazine in Nepal. Additionally, she established her own retail clothing store, House of Alternative Apparel (HAA), showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and creative direction.
Subba's commitment to social causes and entrepreneurship continues through her involvement as the Co-Founder and Creative Director of House of Alternative Apparel and the Himalayan Climate Initiative (HCI).
