Kuma Sagar, a rising star in the Nepali music scene, has captivated audiences with his unique ability to blend traditional melodies with contemporary sounds. Despite facing challenges, including societal expectations and family pressures, Kuma's dedication to his craft remained unwavering. His participation in "The Voice of Nepal" in 2019 further solidified his commitment to a musical career. Known for his resourcefulness, Kuma recorded his first track, "Bajeko Bajang," using just a mobile phone during the 2020 lockdown. Today, his discography includes seven songs that creatively incorporate traditional Newa culture and ancient Malla-period sounds, making him a cultural ambassador through music.
