Jiya KC, a notable figure in the Nepalese film industry, established her acting career in the Kollywood film arena with her debut in "Ho Yehi Maya Ho," directed by Deepak Shrestha, alongside stars like Rajesh Hamal and Karishma Manandhar. Her filmography expanded to include movies such as "Barbaad," "Gigolo," "Wrong Way," and the controversial "ATM."
Between 2013 and 2019, Jiya KC showcased her talent in several films, portraying diverse characters in movies like "Ho Yehi Maya Ho," "ATM (Any Time Masti)," "Barbaad," "Gigolo," "Wrong Way," "Bacha Timrai Ho ya Mann," "Rudrakchya," and "Valentine Dhoka." However, after "Valentine Dhoka" in 2015, she took a hiatus from acting for about four years before returning to the screen with the movie "Bacha" in 2019.
Although she hasn't appeared in any acting roles since 2019, Jiya KC remains active in the film industry, collaborating mainly with her partner, Bhuwan KC. Her involvement as a line producer in Bhuwan KC's directorial debut, "Dreams," stands as a testament to her continued engagement and contributions within the realm of Nepalese cinema, showcasing her diverse talents and involvement behind the scenes.
