Jiwan Luitel, born on September 10, 1981, is a prominent figure in the Nepalese film industry, recognized for his extensive work as an actor. His journey in the entertainment industry began after securing the prestigious title of Mr. Nepal in 2002.
He embarked on his acting career with his debut film "Tirkha" and has since been part of over 65 Nepali films, showcasing his versatility and talent across various cinematic endeavors. Throughout his career, Luitel has received notable accolades, including the KTV Best Debutant Actor award for his performance in "Nasib Aafno" in 2010. Additionally, he was honored with the Best Actor award at the NFDC National Film Awards (2069) for his role in "Maliti Ko Bhatti" in 2013.
Aside from his achievements in cinema, Luitel's journey began in Morang. Initially gaining recognition as a fashion model, he transitioned into acting, marking his presence in the Nepalese Film Industry (Kollywood). Notably, he participated in the Sydney Fashion Show in 2009. Unfortunately, during the same year, he faced a serious injury while performing a stunt for a film, underscoring the challenges and risks prevalent in the industry.
