Jharana Thapa (Nepali: झरना थापा), originally born as Kamala Raj Bhandari on March 28, 1980, is a multi-talented figure in the Nepalese film industry. She is renowned as a film actress, film producer, and film director. Jharana made her debut in Kollywood with the film "Daijo" in 1996, where she starred opposite the prominent actor Bhuwan K.C. Throughout her career, she has played leading roles in numerous movies, solidifying her position in the industry.
One of her notable achievements came with her breakout role in the 1998 movie "Dharam Sankat," for which she received critical acclaim.
After two decades of working in Nepali cinema, Jharana Thapa transitioned into film direction. Her debut directorial venture, "A Mero Hajur 2," was released in September 2017, marking a new chapter in her career.
