Dinesh D.C., also known by his original name Dinesh Raj Dahal, is a multifaceted personality in the Nepali entertainment industry. He is a film director, film producer, film actor, TV actor, presenter, and serves as the president of Cinema Circle Nepal. His notable contributions have earned him recognition, including the Prabal Janasewa Shree award in 2019 for his significant contributions to Nepalese society.
Dinesh D.C. began his journey in the Nepali Film Industry as a supporting artist in "Sun Chandi" (1997) and went on to play various roles in films like "Shankar" (1997), "Ek Number Ko Pakhe" (1999), and "Muna Madan" (2003). He made his directorial debut with "Savadhan" in 2006. His third directorial venture, "Maya's Bar," brought him accolades, including the National Film Awards (Nepal) for Best Director and the D-Cine Award for Critics Choice.
He continued his directorial career with films like "Cha Ekan Cha," a comedy hit that earned him a nomination in the Kamana Film Award for Best Director. D.C.'s next project, the romantic drama "Fulai Fulko Mausam Timilai" (2016), marked his debut as a film producer.
