Bhojraj Bhatta, widely recognized as Biraj Bhatta (Nepali: विराज भट्ट), stands as a prominent figure in Nepalese and Bhojpuri cinema, having left an indelible mark with his versatile acting prowess. His repertoire spans over 200 movies across various languages such as Nepali, Bhojpuri, and Tharu.

Bhatta's journey into the cinematic realm began with supporting roles in films like "Khukuri," which gained considerable success at the box office. He continued to showcase his talent in movies like "Unko Samjhana Ma" (2001), "Pauju" (2002), and made notable appearances in films like "Raju Raja Ram" (2005), "Agnipath" (2004), "Durga" (2005), "Maidan" (2005), "Jeevan Daata" (2005), "Hami Taxi Driver" (2006), and "Dadagiri" (2007). His performances, especially in dance and action sequences, garnered critical acclaim during this phase.

From 2008 to 2011, Bhatta's career soared as he headlined numerous successful films like "Himmat," "Kismat," "Khayal Nayak," "Sisila," "Agni Jwala," "Ilaka," "Itihaas," "Taqdeer," "Arjun Dev," "Dosti," "Naina Resham," "Giraftar," "Himmat 2," "Dhoom," "Sapoot," "Naya Nepal," and more, becoming a sensation in both Nepali and Bhojpuri cinema. His breakthrough in Bhojpuri cinema came with the success of "Lagal Raha Ye Raja Ji" (2008).

He continued his stardom in Bhojpuri cinema from 2012 to 2015, appearing in a plethora of successful movies, earning him the title of the "He Man" of Bhojpuri cinema after featuring in over 80 Bhojpuri films.

In 2016, Bhatta made a return to Nepali cinema with "Jai Parshuram," although the film faced commercial setbacks, his performance, especially in action sequences, was highly praised. Despite committing to projects like "Harke Raja," they didn't materialize.

In 2019, he made a remarkable comeback with "Sangalo," a film where he not only acted but also directed alongside Nikita Chandak. The movie emerged as a blockbuster, grossing over 8 Crore against a 2 Crore budget. Riding on the success of "Sangalo," Bhatta announced his plans to star in "Dhoom 4" and produce/direct a sequel to "Sangalo."
