His cinematic debut came with a brief appearance as a Gangster in Nischal Basnet's "Loot" (2012), followed by a more substantial role in "Chhadke" (2013) where he played the character Bindu.
However, it was his compelling portrayal in "Pashupati Prasad" (2016) in a villainous role that catapulted Karki into the spotlight, earning him widespread acclaim and accolades, including the prestigious National Film Award. His performance was pivotal in cementing his position in the industry.
Karki continued to leave his mark in Nepali cinema, featuring in noteworthy films like "Suntali" (2014), "Jatra" (2016), where he portrayed the lead role, and "Hari" (2018).
