Bijay Baral, a prominent figure in Nepalese cinema and theater, made his debut in 2013 with the film "Chhadke," marking the beginning of his impactful journey in Nepali cinema. His role as B.K. in "Kabaddi" (2014) was notable and showcased his versatile acting prowess. The subsequent films he's been a part of have consistently earned him recognition and acclaim within the industry.
In 2015, Baral portrayed a role in "Kabaddi Kabaddi," the sequel to "Kabaddi," and his performance garnered a nomination for Best Actor in a Comic Role. Continuing his streak, he starred in "Jhumkee" (2016) and "How Funny" (2016), displaying his diverse acting range and talent.
His career reached new heights with his involvement in record-breaking films. "Kabaddi 4: The Final Match" (2022) soared to unprecedented success, becoming the highest-grossing Nepali film, earning over 22.73 crore. In the subsequent year, his role in "Jaari" (2023) contributed to its massive success, collecting 15 crore within its initial three weeks of release and cementing its place among the highest-grossing Nepali films.
