Bhola Prasad Rijal is a distinguished figure in Nepal, known for his expertise as a consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, as well as his contributions as a litterateur. He specializes in In-vitro fertilization, a significant advancement in addressing fertility issues. Born in Dharan, a prominent city in the eastern region of Nepal, in July 1948, he is also the chairman of Nepal Medical College.
Dr. Rijal's pioneering work in introducing In-vitro fertilization to Nepal has brought happiness and hope to countless couples struggling with infertility. Additionally, he played a crucial role in the legalization of abortion in Nepal, demonstrating his commitment to women's reproductive rights.
Beyond his medical profession, Dr. Rijal's love for his country is evident in his literary works and exceptional songwriting abilities, which have earned him recognition as a renowned lyricist and singer in Nepal. He even participated in the song "Melancholy," which featured 365 renowned Nepali singers and musicians.
