Benisha Hamal, a versatile figure in Nepalese entertainment, has made her mark as a radio jockey, model, and acclaimed actress in Nepali cinema. Her multifaceted career spans over a dozen films and more than a hundred music videos, earning her numerous accolades, including a prestigious national award in 2018 for her remarkable performance in "Blind Rocks." Beyond her artistic endeavors, Hamal actively engages in social work, demonstrating her commitment beyond the screen.
Her journey began as a radio jockey at Kalika FM in Bharatpur, following her recognition as the second runner-up in the "Ideal RJ" contest organized by the station. She expanded her presence to television as a VJ on various Nepali channels such as Channel Nepal, NTV Plus, and NTV.
Hamal ventured into modeling in 2009, gracing numerous TV commercials for brands like Yum Yum Noodles, Rio Juice, UTL, Rose Village Housing, Nova Ice-cream, and Wego Scooty. Her involvement extended to an impressive repertoire of music videos, showcasing her talent and versatility across various genres and artists.
Debuting in Prasanna Poudel's "Swor" in 2010 marked the inception of her acting career. Subsequently, she made notable appearances in films like "Jyaan Hajir Chha" (2012), "Mokshya" (2014), and the critically acclaimed "Blind Rocks" (2018). Her recent success came with the hit Nepali movie "Chakka Panja 4," released in 2023, further solidifying her standing in the Nepali film industry.
