Aasif Shah is a multifaceted personality from Nepal, known for his contributions to the entertainment industry as a presenter, actor, singer, VJ, RJ, and director. Born on November 14, 1980, in Kathmandu, Nepal, he began his career as a VJ at Channel Nepal in 2002. Over the years, he has worked with various television networks, including Image Channel, Nepal 1, and Kantipur Television, hosting and producing numerous music-related programs.
Aasif gained widespread recognition for his role in the hit movie Dui Rupaya and as the host of the popular reality show Nepal Idol (Season 2). He also ventured into film direction with his debut movie Karkash in 2013, which brought him acclaim as a director. Beyond films, Aasif has directed over 170 music videos and numerous television commercials through his production company, G21 Production, which he established in 2003.
In addition to his work in television and film, Aasif is a member of the Nepalese hip-hop group The Unity, known for hits like "Pahilo Maya" and "Aajha Feri." His creative endeavors have earned him several awards, including recognition for his music video direction and vocal performances.
